An unprecedented success, the first inagural Merry Market was truly ground breaking. With the fundraising tally still in the works, there is no doubt that our vendors were thrilled, our guests were dazzled, and our members were merry. Like all good things, it certainly did not come with out a lot of hard work and talents on the part of our committee lead brilliantly by Chairperson, Angela Moore. Angela, we hope you are relaxing with your feet up today, but if I know Angela... she is probably crunching the numbers!
It was truly an honor to be a part of this organization for such an exciting event, and what memories we've made together! Strengthening friendships and creating new bonds, the community will enjoys the fruit of your labor for years to come. Congratulations guys!

I had so much fun with Jennie and Marta serving up sushi to our guests and vendors! The provisional class for 2008-2009 rocks!!! Ladies that was an amazing tree. I'm so proud of each of you. I loved the aprons!!
It was so nice to be with all my favorite girlfriends over the weekend and working hard to create a great event. The MM committee out did themselves.
I loved talking to our sustainers and seeing the pride they had for the League! I am so proud to be a member of such a great organization and associated with such amazing women!
I had so many fond memories, but the relevance of Wendy's quote to one of vendors, as she assured them that we would resolve their issue, tops my list. (I often use in my own home) "If momma ain't happy, aint nobody happy!" ahhh- words to live by!
